I Must Be Crazy

A few weeks ago on one of our really hot days, my kids all wanted to go swimming (badly!).  I had forgotten that I promised the night before that I would blow up their kiddie pool for them to play in the next day.  I had also forgotten where our pumps were (we have both a hand pump and an electric pump).  So after some wasted time of looking for the pumps, I decided to give it a try just blowing it up with my own hot air!!!!!!

Almost 2 hours later (yes, 2 hours!) - I did it!!!!

Don't worry, I wasn't blowing for 2 hours straight - I needed to take a few rests myself just to keep from passing out and then of course with a 4, 2 and 1 year old, they forced many breaks for me between needing snacks, drinks, help with the potty, a diaper change, and the constant question of "when are you going to be done" and the list can go on and on......

But I think it was all worth it in the end - look at how much they were having....

So what do you think, am I crazy?  Or just crazy in love with those kids :)

  2. Seeing this reminded me of my sister having a 1st year birthday party for my niece in her living room. Yes, it was a pool party! Yes, I'd agree you are crazy in love with your youngins! :)

  3. Probably both! LOL. But all that matters is that they had a ton of fun and you have a summer experience to cherish for years to come!

  6. Did you pass out at any stage doing this? I am impressed with your stamina and perserverence. Must be love :) I hope the kids played happily in their pool for more than five minutes? You are an angel.
