An Unexpected Houseguest

So yes, we have taken in an unexpected houeguest.  Although the visit was good (probably more for him), I am about done with it.  I'm just trying to figure out how to nicely go about getting my house back.

I must say, the fact that he cleaned up all the crumbs off my kitchen floor last night (that I was just too lazy to sweep up before going to sleep), was a nice surprise!  I am always up for anyone (or anything) pitching in and helping me clean up the house.  He was even courteous enough to not walk through the alarm sensors, so all of us were able to get a sound sleep.

But, I found it a little rude that he just helped himself to a piece of bread sitting on a plate (on the counter!)  that was drying out for some bread crumbs.  Seriously?  So yes, it is time for his visit to be over...

Ugh!  I really do not like mice!!!!!!!!!!  These are the times I wish I could convince my husband to get a cat...

  3. with 4 cats I don't worry about the live mice in my house just the Daughters screams when they bring us their catch! Or when they are being felines by chasing them with this catch and release game... just to pounce on them again...

  5. One time our dog laid a dead rat outside our backdoor on the deck. She acted like she was so proud of what she had done. I think I screamed when I saw it. :)
